It has the integration of transmitter and receiver, no baseline requirements, simple installation, low requirement of geographical location, no impact from vibration, and simple maintenance.

 

The emitter of the visibility meter emits a beam of infrared light having a center wavelength of 0.87 μm into the atmosphere through an infrared light emitting diode, and the receiver combines a certain volume of atmospheric forward scattered light onto the receiving surface of the silicon photoelectric sensor and converts it into the electrical signal which is sent to the acquisition of the controller after processing, and the visibility value is obtained after sampling and calculation by the CPU, and then communicated through the RS232 and the computer.
