How the Veinasa-VICO visibility sensor works: The transmission tunnel smoke concentration detector makes use of the principle that light propagation in the atmosphere is attenuated by the atmosphere. The optical signal is sent out through the optical transmitter, under different tunnel atmospheric conditions, after the attenuation of the optical signal by the atmospheric channel, it is received by the optical receiver, and the signal is calculated and processed by the CPU to give the visibility value and CO value under various tunnel environments.
