The Veinasa-LDYL radar rain sensor uses an advanced small flat-panel radar module with 24GHz Doppler Radar Technology to measure the rate of drop in water droplets and to distinguish between the particle size and the rate of decline of the water droplets to measure the type of rain, snow and hail; and the intensity of the rain.
It has the characteristics of light weight and durability.No moving parts, no on-site calibration.And it is almost maintenance-free, and small in size and power consumption.It can be integrated with computers, data collectors or other communication formats.
It is more sensitive and faster than traditional mechanical rainfall detection method to measure the start and end time of rainfall, and no need to worry about objects, such as leaves cover the surface of the detector to affect rainfall detection, and there is no need for heating to prevent icing.
