Product Description

Veinasa-XDNO3S-4 integrated on-line nitrate nitrogen(N03) sensor is made of nitrate ion selective electrode based on PVC film. It is used to test the content of nitrate ion in water. With temperature compensation, it ensures that the test is fast, simple, accurate and economical.This user manual describes in detail the technical parameters, use and maintenance, communication protocol and other content of the nitrate nitrogen sensor.

Signal output: RS-485 bus, Modbus/RTU protocol, easy to connect to PLC, DCS, industrial control computer, general controller, paperless recording instrument or touch screen and other third party equipment;
Patented nitrate ion electrode, with internal reference solution at a pressure of at least 100 kPa (1Bar), oozes extremely slowly from the microporous salt bridge.
Such reference system is very stable and the electrode life is longer than that of ordinary industrial electrodes
The membrane cap can be replaced to reduce the cost
Easy to install: 3/4"NPT pipe threads for easy immersion installation or mounting in pipes and tanks

Installation and Wiring Method

Note: The sensor should not be installed upside down or horizontally mounted,but be installed at least at an angle of more than 15 degrees.

Electrical Connection

1. Red cable - Power cable (12 ~ 24VDC)
2. Black cable: Ground (GND)
3. The blue line - 485A
4. White line - 485B
5. Yellow wire - Current output (can be suspended if not in use)

The wiring sequence should be carefully checked before power-on to avoid unnecessary losses caused by wiring errors.
Wiring instructions: Considering that cables are immersed in water (including seawater) or exposed to air for a long time, all wiring points are required to be waterproof, and user cables should have certain corrosion resistance.
